This vintage piece started life as a leather satchel but I decided to give it some more colour and character and re-work it as a great folder case to keep all your favourite tracker journals in. You could of course use it as a clutch bag, looks awesome carried out and about!
Everything about this re-imagining has been as sustainable as possible.
The green belt buckle on the front is vintage and from a collection of buckles I inherited many years ago.
The leather tassel on the side was made in the studio from a thrown away leather sample book! Even the wiggly ribbon around the tassel is vintage.
I kept the carry strap and re-worked it as a closure which easily slips on and off so you can retrieve your journals from inside. It also looks great without the closure.
Inside are two sections for you to store whatever you wish.
This measures approximately 13 x 9 x 2 inches and has a snap button fastening underneath the top flap for secure closure alongside the additional closure strap which is free floating and not attached for easy slip on and off.
